This is the front of my house. It sits on a little more than one acre of land at the end of a cul-de-sac. I have a den, kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a laundry, and a two-car garage.
This photo shows a part of the back of the house. My patio extends across the width of most of the house.
Here are photos of my den. To the right of my TV is the doorway leading into the hallway on the right side of the house. From this hallway you can access my office, the guest bedroom and a bathroom.
My new TV!!
I bought this lovely credenza for the wall to the right of my front door.
My kitchen has an abundance of beautiful cabinets made by a talented cabinetmaker from Wiggins. Opposite my counter are my refrigerator and my floor to ceiling pantry cabinet. My above-the-range microwave hadn't been delivered yet when these photos were taken.
My table, six chairs, server, and the matching barstools are made of oak. The table and the server have thick cherry wood tops and my chairs and barstools have matching seats.
To the left of my kitchen and dining room is the hallway leading to my side door and the two-car garage. Off this hallway is my laundry room. Opposite my laundry is a hallway leading to my master bedroom and bath. The bathroom is huge with a garden tub, shower, double vanity and two closets. I hadn't purchased window coverings for my bedroom, so my windows are sporting sheets when these photos were taken.
These two photos were taken after my side tables and bedroom mirror were delivered. My new draperies are hanging on the windows.
My office is on the right side of the house. I chose to use the front bedroom where I have four windows overlooking the front and get lots of light. I had the walls of the office painted orange. Beneath the windows I placed my futon with its white brocade cover. This is a great place to sit and read. I painted my desk black and bought a great black bookcase to match. I'm keeping the decor simple with colors of black, white, and orange. Temporarily, the orange chair and ottoman I bought for the office are being used in the den since my sofa and den chair haven't arrived yet. Poppy and Little One love to perch on the back of the futon and look out of the windows.
Here is my guest bedroom. The brown draperies at the windows match my brown and light blue comforter. It's a cozy and comfortable room.
